They claim they can work on any make or model of bike and I'm pretty sure they may be able to do just that...But when I went in there the person I spoke to didn't want to adjust the parts I already had on my bike...Instead he wanted to sell me new parts. He told me he could try to adjust the part all day but wouldn't be able to make any difference. He suggested I purchase a more expensive part and then have him install and adjust it at the cost of $80.00 + Tax... I felt I had just walked into a car mechanic shop. It was like the old bait and switch. In any case I took my bike home and adjusted it myself and was able to fix the problem I was having...And im not a mountain bike mechanic. I guess in a small way I should be greatful for the opinion he gave me about the abilities of his workmanship...It saved me from paying $45.00 For something he said he couldn't do...lol
Not impressed with the customer service
I called the DL bike shop to ask if I could get a dropper post installed, and they said sure We open at 9 tomorrow. So the next day we arrived at nine and the guy there said that he can't install a dropper post. But his boss could and he arrives at noon so we hung out in do for a few hours and at 1pm we came back and the owner was like we can't get is installed today you should have called and asked before. I said we did and he replied it's a hard job because you have to bleed the hydraulics it takes about 1 hour to install. So he said one hour, he arrived at 12 and they closed at 2 and we had said we can wait because I need to have my bike for the next day for a mountain bike camp in cayuna. I've been to that bike shop a few times and every time I leave I always wish I hadn't entered because the owner blames it on the customer and not him self for their bad customer service.
Wanted to purchase a recumbent trike which the shop does not carry. The bike was special ordered and I picked it up assembled the next day. Friendly, knowledgable, service. Will definitely return.
