I came in to buy chorizo and they did not have it in the normal areas so we asked a employee Rick was off work and said we have it in meat department but it's closed but I will get you some. What an awesome employee off work and went out of his way to help a guest. That's a true employee to have and out of his way best guest service. Store is clean and the layout is nice. The produce ,deli and meat department are quite good. I'd give five stars but, unless you're buying something from the weekly flyer, the groceries are high priced.
I'm a former grocery employee from the cities and I always stop here on my way through. Great selection for a northern town, they've got it all. Always clean, always friendly and open 24 hours. 5 stars!
Best grocery store in Detroit Lakes. Sometimes they run low on produce in the off season, aka winter, but their quality is better than walmart. And they have a good selection of organics and gluten free foods. And they sell locally grown produce and eggs too.
