While this is a user risk in a storage facility, the way they handled it would cause me to warn off any potential tenant in this unit. They offered to pay my insurance deductible. When I told them the price of the deductible, they balked. Then they said they would talk about it to see what they could afford to pay me. They literally never got back to me, even though I inquired several times. They never responded or helped in any way. They tried to tell me that my moldy mattress could still be slept on. Do not trust this storage facility with any belongings that are important to you.
I was impressed at first. They were friendly and flexible. They had new units so I was excited about that. Then it rained for a few days and when I went in to check my belongings, there was water all over the floor, so much for their new units. Our brand-new mattress was covered in mold, even though it was off the floor, since we used pallets.
It cost $80 monthly for a 12x20 unit. It took only 20 minutes to set up the account. If you get a unit late in the month, you only pay for the rest of the month.
