Fun nice little mall in Detroit lakes, very clean and tidy. Looks like they are making updates to it since the area is growing.
So fancy I couldn't even believe it!
The Washington Square Mall is a collection of clothing stores, a drug store, a craft store, and a gift store, with a coffee shop and Chinese restaurant thrown in for good measure. There's a small unmemorable arcade and theater as well.
Some empty stores but most are occupied. DQ moved out. Theater, restaurants, servicea, eye wear, jewelry, nail salon, clothing, pharmacy stores, and many more.
Went to Chinese Dragon for dinner. Excellent service and food.
It's never had the real draw of other malls, there's no food court of big name stores, and what's missing here is found most every other place, but in a smaller town like DL, Washington Square Mall is a good place to walk in Winter, a nice place to stay cool in Summer, and hosts a fair amount of little craft show events to make it a nice stop if you're in town.
I keep finding things I didn't know I needed when I visit, and for all the things it hasn't got, it has got charm.
