If you love the 70/80s time era all the way down to wood panel and musky smell... this is the place for you! I'm pretty sure the mattress hasn't been replaced since then too... it's extremely uncomfortable. The ac unit, microwave and furnishings are all original 80s too! Blast to the past...... with prices of today. It's approximately 14x14, so not too bad. I fail to see the 'budget ' in staying here....i could go to super 8 down the street and at least get into the 2000s... but there were no vacancies. So if in a pinch, it'll do. But stay away if you can. Oooh I totally forgot about the pile of spiders behind the bed, bonus!!
Simple place. One of the cheapest places in the area!
Decent place to stay. The have breakfast (cereal and oatmeal) in the am. The town of Detroit Lakes is an awesome place to explore.
Great place to stay at a reasonable price. We caught Fish at a near by Lake and they had no problem with us cleaning them in the back. Had a hose for us to use and gave us a place to Barry the skins.
**I gave 3 stars for the amazing staff on hand. The lady was more than helpful in any area possible. She offered to help us (5 people) with extra beds, blankets and anything else we needed. She even refunded us after we cut our stay short due to 2 sick kids. **
golf was decent but not maintained. Owner speaks little english and took lomg time to get our key. Room was nasty and smelt musty. Shower was nasty
